THIS!!! Thank heavens it's Saturday!

Today's cover shot is of the Cape Blanco lighthouse which is the most southerly lighthouse on the Oregon Coast. It sits atop a large headland that juts out one and a half miles into the Pacific Ocean, the westernmost point on Oregon's coast. This headland ends at the sea with 200-foot cliffs along most of its perimeter. These chalky cliffs brought the name Cape Blanco or White Cape to this landmark. The lighthouse was built with bricks made at the construction site.

The Cape Blanco lighthouse is open to the public for tours that include climbing the inside stairs to the top of the tower. Man! The education you get in this place.

So, what's on your Saturday schedule. I think I will be burning again if the weather is nice. The forecast looks good so here's hoping! Whatever you do, have a great day!

Carl, love the lighthouse pictures! (and the info)

Beautiful again today, Joe is actually mowing the lawns...I thought the ground would be too soggy but guess it's ok.

Windy today, but also some sun and not a bad temp....50

Hope it all goes up from here.
