May I be the first to wish you a "Happy Hump Day"? I could learn to really love these short weeks! Wednesday already! Ya gotta love that! So, where we goin' today? Regardless, have a great Wednesday!
Junior Rose Festival parade is today...part of the rouse is just blocks from our house. Each year we have to plan not to try to get anywhere in our neighborhood from noon until about 3:30. I understand this year will be the first one to be televised. It is the largest children's parade in the nation (of course, it might be the ONLY one too)
Carol - I'll have to put that on my calendar as just another day to avoid Portland and its surrounding Metro area to the east and south. Portland is bad enough to get around in without blocking off half its streets.
We're just finishing up one of the prettiest days I can remember here in the swamp. Seventy two degrees & not a cloud in the sky... for now anyway. The weather-guessers are calling for showers tomorrow morning... but we'll see!
I spent five hours on the riding lawn mower this afternoon and I am about burned out. I've just got too much area landscaped and too many trees to mow around.... grumble, grumble, grumble! Thank Zeus I don't have to do it with a push type mower! Can you say "gardener"?

Today's cover shot is of one of my creations. It takes the edge off of "blahs".

I know it's hump day but can we make these humps a bit smaller. At least it's a short week.
