This is Armed Forces Day... a day set aside to honor the men and women serving our country.
This is my office where I spent three years of my military service sandwiched in between the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts. I just recently discovered that this old girl (my old aircraft) is now part of the permanent display at the San Diego Air Museum. Following my involvement with her, this plane went on to service during the Viet Nam fighting, assigned to tha Aircraft Carrier Intrepid.
Have a BODACIOUS Saturday! I know I certainly will!
