TGIF!!! At last!

Today's cover shot is another of Oregon's 50+ covered bridges. This one, The Goodpasture Bridge, is a long one... checking in at 165feet. It spans the McKenzie River at Vida. The longest in the state is some fifteen feet longer. Goodpasture is fully operational and carries a full traffic load as a result of a (mostly) federally funded 2 million dollar overhaul this past year. I like these old guys! It's kind of like reaching into the past for a Whitman Sampler taste.

Have yourself a bodaciously fabulous Friday and when it gets here, an equally spectacular weekend!

Well they got the forecast right :)

It's really beautiful out..and it seems it will last for quite a few days. My poor container plants will have a chance of survival after all.

It is a BEE-YOO-TEE-FULL day here in the swamp. Temps in the upper 60s but it should make 75 later. The great part is that we've got the same forecast through the weekend.... YIPPEEE!!!!!!! It takes so little to make me happy! Well, at least that's my opinion and if anyone disagrees with that it becomes THEIR problem and not mine. Ooohh, that's deep.

It's Kraut Polish Dog day for lunch. I haven't had one for over a week. I'm going to break that "fast" very shortly. It's a wonder I don't weigh 700 pounds but I think the kraut is one of those foods like grapefruit that require more energy to digest them than you get from eating them. I know the salt content is bad for me but it's so little kraut & I'll be good later(if I remember).

Well the rain has moved in, most likely will stay for the entire weekend. That's life in Ohio.
