I've always like the leaves on those maples, they look so delicate.
It's been a rough weekend around my house. I spend most of yesterday nursing a headache, and it was not from a hangover. My sister called me this morning and told me her oldest daughter tried to commit suicide last night. She is OK now, but I am afraid she will try again. The hospital should have kept her for observation, but they sent her home instead. I thik I need a long vacation.
Mariposa - Maybe your niece can now get the help she should have gotten in the first place. I have never understood why so many young women get to the point where suicide is more attractive than life. It is such a drastic permanent solution to temporary problems. They say though that most attempts are simply crying out for help... a way to get attention to their problems.
The laceleaf is the only maple that the deer don't have a feast on. I think it doesn't have enough sugar. They are pretty much idiot proof so I have no problems with them at all.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.
