Carl looks like driving school is canceled for today won't try it in the rain. I may have been born at night just not last night...

Mariposa - How does she do in empty parking lots? That's always a good place to practice parallel parking, braking & etc.

Carl she dosen't do to bad in parking lots it on the road where she has her problems. She likes the far right side of the road, I am trying to teach her to look farther down the road. She doesn't seem to grasp the concept that you tend to steer where you are looking.

Mariposa - Those are tough concepts to teach but are basics in high performance driving schools. Keep working with her... it might just save her from serious problems later on. Those concepts can be practiced in a parking lot though. Just have her pick out a point on the opposite side and drive to it with only minimal hand movements. Be sure to stress the importance of minimal hand movement. If she can focus on that point, very little hand movement will be needed to get there. If she is looking a very short distance in front of the car, she will be constantly correcting her steering to get where she wants to go. You'll be able to tell the difference immediately and point it out to her.
