This shot is an experiment into directly publishing a pic from Photo Bucket to this blog without it taking up storage space... In short, it works so that solves the storage problem. Yippeeeee!
The other comment is that beyond the obvious subject matter of the buck, you can see some of my planter creations. I really don't like them just sitting around so these pots are bolted to a flat plate atop the poles. Result, instant color wherever you want to stick it in the ground. :o)
Carl, I like you idea of the flower pots on poles!!
As to the ibuprofin, I bet I take 2 of those maybe every 6 to 8 MONTHS...so I am not the least concerned about my kidneys, liver or stomach. I know people who eat them like M&M's and will pay the price.
Carol - I also know people who abuse the NSAIDS & I cringe every time I see them pop a handful. You're doing it the smart way. Live better through chemistry but don't let chemistry eat you up from inside.
Those planter poles are incredibly simple to make. The first ones I made were with steel pipe & pipe fittings you can buy at any hardware store. Those didn't work real well so I went to this welded version and I paint them so they look good. The terracotta pots are just the plastic variety so I can drill a couple of bolt holes in them for mounting on the plate. I usually use them where I want a spot of color visible over a lower plant or hedge. And, I only plant Annuals in them so I can empty & clean them in the fall. Sometimes I think I have too much time on my hands. Of course that's usually just a fleeting thought sandwiched into a frantic day. :o)
I'm not positive but I think I see just a hint of sunshine outside. I can handle partly cloudy very well thank you.
Carol - With the NBA Draft coming up later this week.... do you and Joe have any hopes WHO the Blazers will pick? More importantly I suppose would be any guesses on who they will probably blow their choices on. They'll probably trade 'em away. I have SO lost faith in that organization! Three strikes and you're out!
I know what you mean about the Blazer organization...it seems they are hard wired to do the opposite of what they should. Odin is a prime example. We have mostly lost interest in them.
