We have a weather forecast for the swamp today that says the prognosticators expect everything except the kitchen sink to fall out of the skies. They say that we can expect showers, heavy rain, hail, thunder showers, and snow down to the mountain pass levels. It makes ya wonder if they're just trying to cover all possibilities without getting too specific. But, SNOW in June? I might have to go up to the heights just so I can say I saw it happen.
Carl beautiful cloudless day, warm temps, what could be better? I know, the day off! That will have to wait until next Friday. Then I'm sure it will rain, sleet, hail, and twisty things falling from the sky. That's just my luck.
I ventured out to feed the deer a short time ago and thought I'd drown before I got back inside. I just happened to time it so I got caught in a gully-washer that came through. Today's rain has just about destroyed my Iris blossoms. They're beautiful but just not tough enough.
Friday night is upon us & I'm headed out to meet some friends for "very good" Chinese food. Tonight it's Wong's King in Estacada and it doesn't get much better than that. There will be eight of us and each person orders his(her) menu favorite & then we all share. It makes for some interesting dinners.

Hoo doggies! TGIF!!! It's here! Happy Happy Friday! Enjoy your day, no matter where it takes you.
This rain dampened single rose bud struck a strong chord with my creative side so it had to make it to today's cover page.

Carl...beautiful rose!!! Love the rain drops on it. Good thing our roses, rhoddies, and azaleas are tough and can take all the rain they get.
We almost made it through our ride without getting wet, ALMOST. Oh well, been wet before, will be again.
Never know what will fall out of the sky with the reports of some of the aircraft problems I've heard lately. Sinks would not surprise me.
