Despite the best efforts of all those who oppose success... WE MADE IT!!! Yay! It's Saturday, it's Saturday. Now that we've gotten here, wassup witchu????? It looks like weather is going to be spectacular today so that means I'll be up to my armpits in work. But, that's the price I pay... willingly! Now's the time when all the young sprouts of blackberries & brushy crap start poking the little heads through the surface... and it's time to put a stop to that! If I didn't, they'd crowd out all my baby trees in no time at all. Thank Hera they have developed environmentally friendly sprays that are really effective but become inert when they hit the ground. No Salmon (or critter) will ever be killed by my trees. :o)

AHHH Saturday a day to sleep in. Well almost sleep in.

Carol from last night. Yes we get tornadoes around here, Xenia Ohio is a good example, damn things keep trying to wipe it off the map, but they just keep rebuilding it. Xenia is just a stones throw away so those things some times get too close for comfort.

It was just a beee - you - tiful day here in the swamp today. It was a little on the cool side (high only 66 according to my weather station) but the sunshine was fabulous. I got so much outside work done today... I've kinda felt like I was getting behind but today made up for that. Now, if the weather will just cooperate like this tomorrow, I'll be in PHAT-CITY!!!

Mariposa - How's the pup doing? With the bad teeth gone she should quickly do much better. :o)

Carl the pup is doing OK. She is a bit sore and gets lots of pills twice a day. I just need to be smarter than she is to get them down her. I love a challenge

If you put it in a little gob of something she likes and then shove it as far down her throat as you can put your finger.... she will swallow it. The trick is to get it back there far enough that she can't spit it out. Works every time on my army of cats.

I've done the shove it down the throat thing and it works but she is taking 5 different meds, With just having teeth removed I think it is too early to have my fingers in her mouth that much. For now I am shoving it in her moist food and it is working for now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to work.
