Pink seems to be a recurring although unintentional theme with our cover page blossoms. But, it's such a HAPPY color!!! Today's cover shot is one of several new flowers planted by my Master Gardener friend in one of my raised planter boxes. I had no idea what they were when she put them in but they really are very pretty. She planted just six bulbs and I have gotten three very pretty although somewhat unusual colors from those six plants. The plants remind me of a Chrysanthemum growing to an 18 - 24 inch height. The blossoms can be multiples on a single stalk although single flowers happen just as often. The blossoms are about 2 1/2 inches in size and as you can see... very showy. Apparently these flowers are used a lot for wedding floral displays... which probably explains why I'm not familiar with them. And, the final strong point is that they do very well in long cool Springtime weather... a perfect fit for the swamp!

So.... what's on the front burner for today??? "O"'s got a fantastic day in the weather forecast today with highs in the mid 80s so it's a natural for getting a lot done outside before it gets too hot. And, I've got some definite plans for that!!!! And, what's up with you today? Whatever it is, enjoy it to the MAX and make the most out of this Saturday! :o)
