Today's cover page pic is one of those plants that you want to plant just because it does GOOD!!! It is the Bee Balm... or Bee BOMB.... depending on who you ask. Either way, it grows to a height of two to three feet & has flowers that attract both bees and Hummingbirds.
Holy MERDE!!!!!!!!!!! It's Friday the Thirteenth!!! How did that sneak in unnoticed??? I'd swear it was a conspiracy but it probably has more to do with CRS!!
Be cautious today and avoid black cats crossing your path as you walk around, rather under, any ladders you encounter. There! I've done my part. Oh, and if you spill any salt be sure to throw some over your left shoulder... or, was that supposed to be your RIGHT shoulder... Damn this CRS!!!!
Carol - Left over from yesterday... Part of the battery of tests my cardioquacks put me trough included carbon dating. They determined that I am "older than dirt."
Carl, well it's better than being "dumber than dirt" :) At least we have forgotten more than most people know (CRS again) I vaguely remember my Grandma said throw the spilled salt over your left shoulder. But then she also thought if you sang or hummed at the table you were crazy. Might have been old Swedish folklore.
I'm going to check with Portland Nursery and another nursery closer to me to see if they still have any Bee Balm. It seems another perfect few plants to put in my circle.
