Today's cover shot: A mated pair of Trumpeter Swans! I love to watch these birds.... For as big as they are, they are so graceful. And, once they mate they are so dedicated to their partner. They're beautiful to watch!
Yay! It's Wednesday. I'm flying home today! Gotta get back to my kitties while they still recognize me. Or, what might be worse would be for them to recognize me and launch a coordinated attack because I've been neglecting them. I'm sure they talk about me when I'm gone..... you know, catty remarks!
I've just about run out of stuff to putz around with here. I've mostly just been keeping busy for the sake of avoiding boredom. My flight's out in a couple of hours though so I've got to head to the airport fairly soon. Maybe a bite of lunch on the way.
Carol - Re your comment from last night: I've seen family fights even when money wasn't involved. I think egos get in the way sometimes and it gets stuck in someone's head that they have to have grandmas silver or china.... and they're ready to fight to the end to get it. But, you're right! GREED does poke its head in way too often.
It's true about family fights...can be most anything. As the old saying goes you can choose your friends, but not your relatives.
You have a good flight home, your little kitties will hopefully be glad to see you (although they will probably just act like nothing happened - LOL) Got to have a strong sense of yourself when dealing with cats.
You're completely right! It's a real ego buster to arrive thinking they'd be happy to see you... only to have them ignore your presence as if to say, "Oh! Were you gone?"
