Can we rewind back to Saturday and get a "do-over"?
Sunday's thunder activity completely missed mi casa... got just a very light misty rain and that was it. They're promising a return event on Tuesday... a return of what I'm not sure since Sunday was a no-show.
I've got an appointment with my primary care Dr. today to go over what the cardio quacks are and aren't doing. She may become my "only" provider if we can't rationalize what those idiots have been and "are" doing. Wish me "luck"!
Mariposa, I know you will enjoy your time off. Do you have the whole week? Sometimes just doing nothing at all is the very best thing. If you then get an idea, you have the time to act on it. I love each day!
Mr.Ed, sure hope your visit with the Dr is all you want it to be. It would be nice if you could just have her on your side and not the other 'quacks' as you call them. I have no patience with Dr's that don't listen.
Carol - She has always been the one doctor who listened to me. She is the one who recognized what had happened and kept me alive when my aorta split. Needless to say she has my total faith & complete trust. She's not a cardiologist but I think she is able to see the big picture much better than the specialists can. And, I never have to question her motives. I question her choice of cardiologists but she has always been willing to seek out a new one in the past when one didn't work out. I haven't had a cardiologist I have trusted since I changed my insurance away from the Kaiser program. Kaiser's heart program is fabulous but I didn't like having to use only THEIR primary care doctors. It came down to that patient/doctor bond and trust and they wouldn't let me keep my own provider. You can find my picture in the dictionary under "CURMUDGEON"!!!! ☺
Carol - As I said, I loved their cardiac unit. I had total confidence in everything they told me and what they did. If they had let me keep my primary care provider, I'd still be with them. I didn't see anything wrong with their doctors or the program but I already had that tremendous "bond of trust" established with mine and I wasn't willing to let that go.
BTW - My session went just fine. She agreed with everything I am doing. She told me several times that she is not a cardiologist but I reminded her that I don't need a heart doctor. I need a BLOOD PRESSURE doctor and that's usually the last thing on the mind of a cardiologist.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

AHHH So nice to know I don't have to drag myself into work today. What to do. What to do. I'm sure I'll come up with something.
Good luck with the Dr. today.
Have a great day.

Oops! I meant - Fly little butterfly, FLY! (& watch out for the birds)
Mr Ed, let us know how your appt went. We are both with Kaiser now (I just joined last March) I really like the service and my primary care Dr.
