Today's cover pic: One of my favorite subject shots. Somehow it seems appropriate with the weather we have going on outside in the swamp.

Have a great Saturday. You'll find me in front of the TV watching football. Beavs and Ducks both at home this weekend.

I just checked my rain gauge & so far, as of midnight, Friday's rainfall was slightly under a quarter inch here at mi casa... (actual reading .21) It'll be interesting to see what I capture in it by this time tomorrow.

From last night, the storm is coming down B.C. and supposed to arrive here about noon. Then the big wallop will hit Sunday. The prediction times are iffy. I just don't want to lose power or have a street tree fall on the house.

I just read there are 2 storms, one from B.C. and one as you mentioned coming across the Pacific. Lucky us, we get to be there for their meeting!
Talk about "Blowin' in the Wind"!!

About 2 more hours until the Buckeyes play. Wisconsin should be fun.

44-17 final - The game wasn't that close. Go Beavs

Ducks and Cal play shortly in the wind and rain.

Ducks by 27 end of first quarter. What a SLOPPY game.

Ducks by 41 - 3 at the half.

Ducks final 55 - 16. Good game despite absolutely miserable weather conditions. I thought Cal was a better team than that but in reality, they weren't THAT bad. It's just that the Ducks are so much better.

Mariposa - It looks like the Buckeyes took no prisoners in their win. And, you got your starting QB back... can't ask for more.
