Sunday - Have a GREAT one! I just got in from a late dinner & the weather here in the swamp couldn't be any more perfect. We've got a beautiful half moon and not a cloud in the sky. The good part is that the forecast is calling for good weather through the entire upcoming week. I can LIVE with THAT! I've got two crews coming in Monday to get started cleaning up the new stump ranch I bought. If the weather holds, they should have it done in about ten days. I've got my fingers crossed that the forecast is right. I'd love to get the debris piled and burned before it gets into serious fall rains. That would give the land time to get settled a bit before we plant in January. Maybe, just this once, I'll get lucky with the weather...
Digressing slightly: Today's cover shot.......... Can you imagine that oak tree being just a seedling when the barn was built???? What tales could they tell of their lives together......
After our bike ride I'll be doing work in the back yard today. Great weather for getting things cleaned up. Going to pull up the tomato plants. If I still feel like it, I'll replant some bulbs. All the work will take several days but will be worth it.
OK the reason I'm am planning on staying home is not the band. I worked 60 hours this week, and it looks like I'll be doing that for the next few weeks. Sleep will be about the only thing on my mind.
Tomato plants are all gone, Dahlia's are all cut way back. Tomorrow I'll tackle the re-planting of my bulbs, after removing them from the circle. There are some Gladiolus bulbs in there that I'll have to move and I don't really think they will mind as they won't be out of the soil that long. I'll give my neighbor some too as there are too many to re-plant in the space I have.

My Buckeyes had a bye week.
Just got back from another evening out with the hubby's band. I think I will skip next week and get some sleep.
Mariposa - What a GLOWING endorsement that was........
Still laughing...........

I love the cover shot and the wording. I often wonder what the old buildings and barns, etc would tell us if they could.
Mariposa, I laughed at your comment on your reaction to your hubby's band. Hope you tell him in softer tones. :)

Mariposa - I BELIEVE YOU! Honest! But, I like it the way I got it & I'm still laughing.
