TGIF!!! End of this week as we know it and onward to the weekend. Hopefully our good weather will continue to hold here in the swamp.
We get to wrap up Escrow on my new property today. I'm kind of anxious to get started on reclaiming this one. I hate large clear cuts and that's what the prior owners did to this piece. It's going to be a lot of work but I'll have trees on it before next summer. The first task is going to be getting all the logging debris cleared out and burned in time for planting in January. It'll be tight but with a little luck with the weather, it'll work.

I hope the light I see at the end of the tunnel is not a train headed my way!
