Today's cover shot: It's unusual to see striations or rays in a sunrise due to the position of the sun in relation to the clouds. But, occasionally they do happen as the shot shows.

Wednesday! Have a Happy Hump Day!

Well, the guru's were right this time...it's COLD (for us) 28 when we got up at 5:30.
At least it will be clear and sunny.

It would appear that I got Grandpa Jade's "greenhouse" put together for him at just the right time. I go through this every year but at 80 years old(closer to 85), he's just too large to move inside for the winter. So, I provide him with a temporary greenhouse to protect him from freezing. He'll go back to the friends who own him eventually when they build their new house but until then, he ain't gonna die on my shift!!!!!! He seems to be happy & has bloomed every year since he came to live with me. ☺

Seems like we are going to have this cold, clear, sunny weather pattern for the rest of the month. I'll take it.

I just got home and saw the weather report . They are calling for a high of 28 on Sunday. Good thing I have next week off so I can hibernate.

Mariposa, see, that is the difference between our climates...your high will be 28 but that is our low, and we will get to the mid 40's for a high.
I will take ours, but glad you have next week off. That will feel good, pamper yourself!!

Carol - It's also pretty nice to know that when we close the doors and windows, the weather is going to stay outside.

Mariposa, yes, that does make a huge difference :)
