Today's cover shot - November's full moon named to coincide with the placement of Beaver traps before the oncoming cold weather.
Oh my word! It's Sunday. How'd that happen??? College football is winding down.... Ducks WON! Beavers Lost! The Ducks are out of the BCS Title picture. But, they didn't deserve to be there.... IMHO... so, I can't even say I'm disappointed! I think USC needs a big "THANK YOU" from every Duck fan though for knocking off Stanford. It couldn't have happened to a more "deserving" team.
Mariposa - Are you in the tornado watch area today????? It looks like you might want to keep your head down later on.

Yes I'm in the watch area It goes until 8:00 PM. I'm keeping the eyes open and the head down.

If someone didn't know the story behind the arrows and came across one, I wonder what they would think. You certainly could never figure it out. I love historical things!! I'm glad someone preserved and refurbished one of the towers. What a fun read!! Thanks!!
Take care with the tornado watch, I'd absolutely be a nervous wreck in a tornado area. I have had a horror of them ever since I was a kid and watched The Wizard of Oz!
