Lordy, lordy, lordy! It can't be Monday already can it? Oh well! Make the most out of it & maybe it will just go away with no permanent harm. But despite the Monday thingy, have a good day.
I think I might just give up to the inevitable today and admit defeat. I've been fighting the onset of a stupid cold for several days and no matter what I do, it always comes out on top.
You've got my promise that I won't give it to you but if anybody needs me I'll be curled up in the corner with a couple of cats and my blanket & pillow.
Mr Ed, cold are such a rotten things. Knock on wood, I haven't had one for years. I try to stay away from kids, they are cute but mostly are carriers of virus's I don't want.
Have a good rest, keep warm and drink booze, it's supposed to kill the bug and even if it doesn't, you'll feel good...LOL
It was a typical Monday, completely FUBAR. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
I agree with Carol, go for the booze. Even if you don't feel better you won't care.
I got in a pretty good nap for a couple of hours. It didn't cure it but I feel a little better afterward. I don't understand where I was exposed to it. I haven't been around any kids but I guess I crossed paths with a parent somewhere who was a walking "germ bomb".
