Have a Happy Hump Day!
Another cold morning here in the swamp. Temp's not too bad.... just 34ยบ but for some reason it feels much colder than that... probably the humidity or something. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Early appointment with my eye doctor today for another injection. Always fun. But, they are working! I got fitted with my new prescription glasses yesterday and can actually see well enough to read 20 20. It's the first time in over a year that I've been able to do that. Yahoo!!!!!

At least you don't have do fix the dinner and clean up afterward.
I am grateful to not have to do THAT DINNER any longer.
Carol - I can be just as "thankful" without someone slaving to put together a meal that is history in 45 minutes.(or so) Are you and hubby doing it "in" or "out"???

We are having dinner here but I'm not doing THE DINNER. I quit doing that several years ago. We, and our son and family have been going to hubby's niece's house but tired of that due to toooooo many little, noisy kids. YUK
I am fixing a "picnic": Potato salad, BBQ'd boneless spare ribs, baked beans, corn and daughter-in-law is bringing a tossed green salad. Beer, wine and lemonade.
No desserts. We don't need those extra calories.
Carol - Your "picnic" sounds GREAT! I'm with you on the "noisy" kids. I'm so glad I have none anywhere close to my life.
One of the ladies who wanted to feed me brought me a sweet potato pie tonight. I had a piece & it was actually pretty good. I hope there weren't strings hidden in there
