Be Kind to Each Other - and pay it forward... one kindness at a time! There are thousands of ways to practice "Random Acts of Kindness" and I haven't found even one that just doesn't feel "good" and "right" when you do it..........
Mariposa - You have my sympathy in the deepest sense of the word for being subjected to that four letter word. I keep expecting to get hit with it in the heights but so far, nothing.
I think I might be getting past this cold "crud"! Today is the first day I actually feel like I want to be up doing something. I'm still pretty weak but at least my mind is coming around. We'll see how long I last today. I've got an eye exam this afternoon to see if a lens adjustment will help the vision in my weak eye. I'm hoping they can correct on the 20/60 they've gotten back with the shots but they've been pretty non committal. I'm hopin'!!!!!
Mr Ed, glad you are getting back to yourself. Hope your appt goes well.
I'm going to the Dr today too...have an infected fingernail or something. It's red, swollen, warm and SORE. I can see something beside the nail, between it and the fleshy part of my finger but have no clue what it is.
Glad we raked up a lot of leaves and trimmed our 3 little, round Rheingold arborvitae yesterday. We heard the rain was coming in overnight. Lots of leaves to come down yet but the street cleaners were here on Sunday so the streets are much better. That time of year!
Nothing but good news and blue skies from my visit to the eye Dr. today. The only downside is that I have to have new glasses made. All the treatments over the past year have improved my "gimpy" eye to a point where it has simply bypassed my current eyeglass prescription. With the new glasses, my corrected vision will be pretty much equal out of each eye and 20/20 together. After living in the shadow of vision loss for the past year, I feel like I just got turned loose into the sunshine once again. I'll still need eye injections but only every couple of months or so to maintain where we've gotten.
Carol - What did the Dr. decide on the fingernail?
Mr. Ed - Dr said it was "Onychia" or in our language a staph infection. Don't have a clue where I could have picked it up...I wash my hands often and use wipes if I can't. Anyway, he gave me an Rx for Kelex (an antibiotic) which I have to take 4 times a day for a week.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

So glad your eye is doing so well!!
Carol - Ooooooohhh! Just the word "staph" scares the crap out of me. Hopefully it will respond quickly to the antibiotics...
