Another VERY COLD night and morning here in the swamp. As I write this my weather station is showing 26º but I don't remember if that's up or down from last night at this time. But, whatever!!!!!!!!! BRRRRRRRR!
Going back and taking a look I find that it's slightly warmer tonight... not much but just a little. Wahoooo! Heat wave!

Just a day and a half left and vacation starts!

Just a week, but do I ever need it.
It's 25.3 now at 7:00 from a low of 24.
I do like the sunny days though.
Mr. Ed, I love the cover shot. Yes, if I were a rodent, I'd be very nervous.
Also, I wonder if the Blazers will get their hats handed to them tonight by the Bulls.
Carol - The Blazers eventually will have to lose to somebody.... they're not going to "win out" the season. What has impressed me so far is how they are playing as a team. It's kind of unusual to have so many players stepping up and carrying the load rather than just one "superstar". They all have games they'd rather forget but it seems someone else just steps up and picks up the pace. I like what I'm seeing so far! There's a lot of depth and it goes deep into the bench.
Mariposa - Are you going somewhere for your vacation or just relaxing at home???? After the schedule you've had, the "home" option probably sounds pretty good!!!!!

Mariposa, I am certain you will have a glorious week off, just doing what you love to do....that's what a vacation or 'staycation' is all about.
Carol - I have to agree with you about the beautiful sunny days we've inherited. A couple more like these last two and I will be spoiled!
Dear hubby has informed me he and our neighbor will be remodeling our bathroom Friday. I know I'll need a place to hide then.
Mariposa, hope you have more than 1 bathroom in your house. :)
Bike ride this morning was a challenge. It was 36 when we left at about 10:15. WINDY. So that made it feel a lot colder. We were dressed for it though so it was alright. When we got out to the 8 mile point where we turn around to come back home, it was easy pedaling all the way. :)
Carol - I'm assuming you picked up a tail wind when you turned around?
