Still fighting this miserable clold and I think it's winning the fight. It has settled in my throat and chest I've got laryngitis Big TIME! It has been years since I've had a cold take me down like this one has.
All that's left to say is: TGIF!!!!

So sorry the cold is winning. Sounds like you should curl up under a blanket with a few cats and call it a day.

Mr Ed, I think Mariposa is right, blankies, kitties and a shot of brandy could be the cure.
Don't ignore your congestion though, if you get pneumonia it could get real serious real fast.
I paid my dr. a visit this morning and she wasn't happy with how fast this thing has taken me down. So, now I'm on antibiotics. I've got a long history with pneumonia so she's not taking any chances with it. Other than the "horse" pills she prescribed, her remedy is to keep warm & get lots of rest. She didn't mention anything about brandy but she didn't say "not" to go that way.
Too bad about the Ducks getting "whupped" by Stanford but it didn't surprise me. They have been "going through the motions for several games and it finally caught up with them. Maybe now they will get some focus.
Mr. Ed, so glad you went to your Dr today. Smart man.
The Ducks hadn't really played any 'serious' teams until Stanford so now they know what a good team is capable of. As you said, hopefully this will concentrate their attention.
