TGIF!!!!! Welcome to Black Friday.... that day when all the businesses try to rake in the big bucks early on in the Christmas shopping madhouse. You won't find me anywhere close to that madness but if you have good insurance and you feel compelled to take part.... go for it and have a good time.
Another chilly morning but not too bad.... only 28ยบ but looking good... at least for today. The rest of the weekend goes south pretty quick though! We'll see!!!
It's was 28 here this morning at 6:10.
The weather guru's are tossing the S word around for Monday night/Tuesday.
Of course, as soon as they say it and have that poor schmuck standing on the Sylvan overpass, nothing will happen.
I wouldn't go near a store today (unless I was out of beer).
Carol - I'm with you on the stores. Cyber Monday is next... As long as the internet is up, I can deal with that!
My gift of choice is cash. No lines, no fuss, and it always fits.
Mariposa, CASH IS KING...that is what we give our grand kids unless they have a very specific want.
They are the only ones we buy for at Cmas, all the adults mutually agreed on no gifts. That sure simplifies the whole thing.
I don't even decorate anymore as we go to sons house on Cmas eve and stay home on the 25th.
