It took them the entire game but the Blazers knocked off the Pacers, the team with this season's best NBA record... I'm impressed! These guys just don't QUIT!!! And, rookie point guard Damian Lillard is doing a great job driving the bus!!!!!! I'm slowly becoming a BELIEVER! The next test will be against Oklahoma on Wednesday night. Basketball could get to be "FUN" again here in Puddle City!

Instant THERAPY!
Dear Daughter was let go from her job of 4 years last week. Today she landed a new one. Not sure what happened at the old place, but I think it has something to do with new management wanting to get their own "people" in.
She will be doing the same work. She is an aid in an assisted living facility. It is three twelve hour shifts, so she will have 4 days off.
How great is it that she bounced back and has a new job that quick! Is she still GAGA over her boyfriend?
I totally "spaced out" and forgot to mention that I made a trip into the Heights today and found myself driving in several inches of snow. I suspect it came down last night but I'm not positive. Very pretty outing though.....
I just can't seem to get rid of the boyfriend. At least he got his GED and is taking some college courses. I still can't stand him.
Mariposa - Your dislike and disapproval is probably what makes him so attractive to her.
I don't say anything any more.
Smart! Think she'd buy it if you started praising him as a "model" boy scout? She'd probably hate it if mom and love interest got too chummy........
For who knows whatever reason, the girls seem to go for the "James Dean" characters and "nice guys" finish LAST!
