Today's cover shot: One of the yearling does.... a teenager. It's hard to tell them from full grown but next summer she'll have a baby of her own. First time mamas normally only have a single fawn.
Sunday is upon us in this "tween" week. To me, it seems like half the world is running at half speed while everyone else is at full "stop"! I don't think I'd survive if I had to be part of the working world now.
Have a great Sunday and I'll keep looking for interesting "stuff" to capture with my Nikon!
Happy Sunday! Trying out my new toy since home computer is still down. I decided to get my own Xmas gift. I settled on a smartphone, now I'll see how "smart" I really am.
Mariposa - Yayyyyyyyy! You go girl! I've gone through an Android Tablet, a Nook, and two I-Pads & I guess I'm just too old for them. The last one I bought was the I-Pad Air with the Zook keyboard. I HATED all of them and keep going back to my home network.
We just bought 2 Window's smart phones. They are just as good as the expensive ones, but only cost $60 and our minute plan is only $25 every 3 MONTHS. These phones do everything and are easy to use. I am just getting used to mine. I've never used a 'smart' phone before but do use my iPad a lot so it will be easier for me to learn the phone than if I had never used an iPad. I won't need all the features but it's nice to know they are there.
I agree with you Mr Ed, I wouldn't make it in today's working world.
No, I didn't see the Blazer game. Felt too awful with my cold and just went to bed.
Back to yesterday: My Cell is a dinosaur & pretty "dumb". It can't sit up, beg, roll over or do any of those cute tricks. It's a Motorola flip-phone and it spends most of its life either in my pocket or in the glove compartment of my car. There are only a few people who even have the number and they know better than try to call me on it. I don't even have the voice mail set up, I don't text, and I really enjoy it that way. I know! I'm a "relic". But, on the plus side, I don't pay for a "plan", there are no monthly charges and It costs me 10¢ a minute (prepaid) when or "if" I choose to use it(if I can get a signal out here in the boonies).☺
Take care of the cold. Mine is still socked in but I refuse to let it "whip" me!
We refuse to sign up for those expensive phone plans too. Ours is a much cheaper than most all we've heard of. Our phones are made by Nokia. I am still in the dark about most of the features and that's ok, since I probably won't use them anyway. I don't text either, I just use e-mail, but I can do that from my phone now.
Hard loss for the Blazers, but they've done so well. Joe was saying they can't live and die with that 3 point play they like so well, but they've made it work so far.
Mr Ed, I just realized you said your cold was still "socked in". How long have you had that thing??? Seems ages ago that you got it...geez, I hope mine goes AWAY tomorrow, of course, I know it won't. But you have had your forever.
Carol - I had one about 2 months ago & it turned into pneumonia before I kicked it with antibiotics. This one just came on a few days ago. I hope it just goes away like they're supposed to. My immune system is so screwed up from all the drugs, it doesn't take anything for me to catch a cold.
I agree with Joe on the 3-pointers. If they live by the long shot, they're also going to lose by them.

This is more out of desperation I hate not being connected. Even poor hubby is going nuts without the computer. I even had to upgrade his phone;)

Carol - Feeling any better this morning?
About the same, couldn't taste my breakfast. :(
I forgot how nasty a bad cold can be but I'm grateful that's all it is. I will get better soon.

Carol - The Blazers had Miami beat but with a half second on the clock, Bosh threw up a three pointer that went in. You can't lose closer than that.
