Got a pre-cancer spot on my cheek frozen yesterday. The nurse said it would hurt more later than just after she did it, and that I should take Tylenol. Since we don't have any, I bought a small bottle. Funny, the spot does not hurt at all! Anyway, glad I caught it early.

Carol - It's GOOD that you caught it and had it treated.

Another ho-hum eye treatment. There hasn't been much change in quite a while... but at least it's not getting WORSE!!! It's not perfect but I'm no longer 20 years old! I'll gladly take what I've got.

Mr.Ed, yes getting any spot on your skin treated early is well worth it.
You don't want to risk cancer.
These pre cancers come up do to years of accumulated sun exposure and being fair skinned, I am more at risk. As a kid I did get a few bad sunburns...no sunscreen in those days. I did try for a tan a few times in my teens and 20's but only burned and I hated laying in the hot sun!!

Mr.Ed, glad your vision is stable and as you say, it's not getting worse. It's much better than is was when you started those treatments.

Carol - With my glasses it's corrected to 20/20. I'd prefer it to be that without glasses but it wasn't even that good when I was a teenager. I wanted to be a Navy pilot but didn't make it because of vision... it needed to be 20/20 without correction. For some reason they thought pilots needed to be able to see where they were going without worrying about losing or breaking glasses. Imagine that!!!

We've had two days of sun with temps in the 40s. might hit 60 tomorrow, but rain is coming with the warmth. I'll take it over the snow.

Mariposa, so nice you are out of the deep freeze!
Warm rain is so much better!
