Today's cover shot: A young Bald Eagle... probably right at a year old... give or take a couple of months. They get the traditional white head at about five years.

Feliz Sabado!! Have a great Saturday & stay dry!

Mr Ed, (from last night): we did the Ringers Lactate for Laurel too. She tolerated it very well. That went on for nearly 2 years.

I hope we don't all wash away today, it's really coming down!!!

Carol - I had another talk with their vet this morning and he was very reassuring about the numbers. He says we'll recheck them in three months but for now they're fine being where they are and nothing is needed. I guess I'm just a worry-wart! The biggest thing they want to watch is Mandy's heart murmur to see if it goes away like they expect. That will be a relief if it does because they think it was caused by the Thyroid.

I haven't seen a drop of rain since early this morning... nothing but gentle breezes, blue skies & SUNSHINE. A bit nippy but not too bad.

It was a good run. I figured Florida would be too much for them to handle. I give them credit they never gave up.

Mariposa - They're among the "elite" eight! They did good.

Mariposa - They did better than the "one and done" Ducks!
