Anniversary (birthday) recognition to the Girl Scouts... 102 years today. So buy a box of cookies...

I'm surprised that the Girl Scouts can sell those cookies, they're AWFUL, and have been for the last 20 years!! They used to be so good, especially the shortbread. I did find out they switched bakeries years ago and that is why the quality of the cookies went south.
Oh well, since we don't eat sweets, it really doesn't matter to us...I just think it's odd that people still like them, maybe they are too young to know better.

Another beautiful day in the making, should hit 63 with full sun.

The poor NE is going to get slammed with another snow storm!

Carol - I agree on the GS cookies but I usually buy a couple of boxes of the chocolate mint things to support the girls. The rest of 'em are hard as bricks & although I've never tasted a brick I imagine they taste about the same. Face it! The real reason I buy them is because I'm sucking up to the mommies. The mommies are so cuuuuutte!

Funny, very funny...

Went from 69 yesterday to snow and lots of wind today. Froze my assets off all day.

Mariposa - Not intending to make your suffering worse but it's Sunny and 65ยบ here in the swamp this afternoon. It looks so much like SPRING with the Flowering Plum trees in full bloom. My Magnolia is almost ready to pop! It almost makes me wish I had a fishing pole so I could go out on a riverbank and take a nap... and at least make it look like there's a reason for being there. My thinkin' is that if you go out without a fishing pole, someone might mistake you for dead and push you into the river. Of course, I guess that could also happen if your fishing pole is worth too much. It's always a risk to just crash and take a nap....

Mariposa, the popsicle comment made me laugh!!

Mr Ed, I thought you'd like to know I took a step up from my light beer. I bought a 6 pack of Black Butte Porter a week ago Monday because we were having a couple over for a visit and the guy liked craft beer. He only had 2, so Joe tried on of them last night and I had a sip. Wow! that is one tasty beer!!! The label reads " creamy mouthfeel, complex layers, hop edge and chocolate finish. I love that hint of chocolate (at first I thought it was coffee). Anyway at 5.2% it's not too bad but couldn't drink a whole lot of them or I'd be under that proverbial table.

Mariposa - Wow! My hat's off to Ohio drivers. They do an even worse job of driving in snow than Oregon's drivers. Apparently nobody knows how to slow down in the Buckeye State either.
