We've waited for it! We've been fairly patient! Now, at last, here it comes... slinking in slightly after noon Eastern time today! That’s 9:57 a.m. PST, 11:57 a.m. CST, and 12:57 p.m. EST.
Mariposa - The sound you heard could have been my patience letting go. I reached my max on STUPID about an hour ago! Some people should be equipped with a "TERMINATE" button! I have a neighbor kid doing some work for me and I'm having to repeatedly show him how to do even the most basic stuff. I don't think he's coming back. I think I'd end up causing him large amounts of harm if I ever actually connected with his alleged brain. Arrrrrggggggghhhhh!!!!
The Buckeyes have football, but Dayton has its basketball. This town goes nuts durning the basketball season. I drive by the U. D. Arena on my way home from work. On the nights there is a game I wish I could find another way home. It is absolutely nuts around there.
I just got an interesting letter from the attorney handling Auntie Em's estate distribution and will. It appears I now have inherited another piece of property. I don't know all the details yet but this one is a ranch my aunt and uncle owned in Australia. This one could prove interesting.
Mariposa - Nothing planned and probably not anytime soon. We'll need to get a court decree entered in Las Vegas and then that will need to go the court system (whatever it is) in Queensland to be entered there as well. The letter from the attorney said that could take six months to a year to finalize. In the meanwhile, the property is leased to a management company. I think it's amazing the attorneys even found it. It suddenly showed up as income when the management co. made their annual payment. That prompted the bean counters to take a new look at some of Auntie Em's paperwork. This thing has raised questions in my mind because Auntie Em & Uncle Hal lived in Africa and New Zealand for many years & Uncle Hal had a thing about owning property. I'm starting to wonder where else they bought property and if they subsequently sold all of it. I know they sold their place in New Zealand just before they came back to the U.S. They didn't like that New Zealand would only allow them to live there six months out of the year. They had the place on the market when I visited them there about thirty years ago and I'm sure it sold before they left. The attorneys have gone back looking for any reference to other properties but found nothing so this is probably the last of it. I know they sold their property in Texas and Florida because I helped with that after Uncle Hal died in 1997.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

Ooooh! It looks like a low scoring barn-burner in the Ohio battle.
Waiting to see if our Flyers can knock off the Buckeyes.
