Oh! Today's cover shot.... wild cherry blossoms. Cherries need two trees for pollination... they don't self pollinate. The fruit from these guys is worthless but the birds love 'em. Man! The STUFF you learn here!!!!!!!!!
Hump Day!!! Have a bodacious one! It's all downhill from here to the weekend..........
Mariposa - In yesterday's 6:45, I didn't see any thunder clouds with lightning flashes, tornados, truck wrecks or life threatening gigantic tsunami waves. I guess that could mean that you simply could not find them on such short notice.....
Today is "Get a shot in the eye" day! Doesn't that SOUND like FUN??? I'm on a seven week schedule now but it's only to sustain rather than get any more improvement. What I've recovered now is pretty much where I'll stay... 20/80... but I can do very well with that. It just always feels like my eye is full of sand afterward... grumble, grumble!
Mr.Ed, thanks for the paint lessons. :) My sister told me about Velspar - I hadn't heard of it. I usually go to Rhodda but guess I forgot that I could have taken that paint sample I liked to their store and had them match it. Once I took a small pillow in and had them match it...they did, perfectly. I don't paint much anymore and the last time our living/dining/hall was done, I hired a lady to do it. That's just tooooo much work anymore. I am glad the guest bedroom is small and I have strong legs!! Climbing up and down the step ladder (and taping off the ceiling) is enough for me. I knew these last 30 years of bike riding would pay off some day...LOL
Carol - Don't get me wrong about Dutch Boy Paint. For what it is it's pretty good and I've used it several times.
It's great when something (like bike riding) you enjoy actually physically helps you live your life in other ways. A friend of mine put signs barring my use above that level, on the fourth rung of all my ladders. I fell off one and broke my foot about ten years back and they just won't let me get past it. At least they haven't taken my chainsaws and power tools away..... yet!
I wish my vet would get a better brand of kitty litter to pour into my eye. I think he has started using the extra gritty clumping coarse sand. He hit a nerve again today.... he's getting very good at doing that. I think that's how he reminds me that I am not in control....

Mr. Ed, sorry about your "kitty litter" eye thingy, but it is good that it helps your vision.
Yeah, the legs are strong, arms - not so much....more like wet noodles.
LOL.
