Today's cover shot: Pic taken in 1961 on the flight line at Pt. Mugu in Southern California. After my service period, this plane saw service in Vietnam on the Aircraft Carrier Intrepid and later on The John F, Kennedy. Due to her record of service in the early missile program and in combat as well, she survived the scrap yard and as of last year was displayed at the San Diego Air Museum.
Have a productive Saturday. I've got a promise of good weather so I'll be the guy on the mower again. I wish my deer would do a better job of cutting this stuff down but I guess they can only eat so much...
