Today's cover shot: Mt. St. Helens... our favorite volcano. Helen's been grumbling a little lately and scientists say the surrounding area is pushing upward... due to fresh magma filling its reservoir under the mountain. I suppose it will "burp" again one of these days.

Have a happy Hump Day! I'll be on my run to get parts for my mower. I was supposed to go get them ordered yesterday but the Maytag repairman ran late. But, now my washer works... yay!!!!!

Game one Blazers - Spurs.... PATHETIC!!! Does anyone have a bag I can wear over my head???? But, I can honestly say the Blazer meltdown didn't surprise me. I've been expecting it but didn't know when it would happen. I can't remember a single point in that game that would make me want to go back and watch another one. It was like the Blazers forgot everything they ever knew about the game. Maybe somebody will just go ahead and push the dagger into my heart and get this season over with.

Finally got a date when we will move the warehouse. Next weekend. But don't hold your breath you may end up looking like a smurf.

Mariposa - Ten days down the road... not this Mother's Day weekend? Anyway, I like Smurfs! Papa Smurf is my HERO! I have a Papa Smurf decal in the rear window of my truck. I know, TMI!

Seriously, I hope the move goes smoothly. Will Freddy be taking the weekend off?

I work Freddy pretty hard last weekend. Believe it or not he is coming back for round two this weekend. As for the move he will be at the new location unloading and putting things away, I will be here packing up and tearing things down. Oh and the good part is I get stuck with the new GM. He thinks it will be easier to pull things off the shelf than to put things back on.

Ooooooh... A new warehouse AND a new GM! There's "chaos" defined! Good luck!

Mr. Ed, from last night, I know about putting Roundup on the cut stems of pesky plants, but it's so tedious when you have a many as I do. I will think about that. It's what they do to get rid of English Ivy. (did you know stores, etc are not allowed to sell that Ivy?)

Carol - Really? I didn't know that. It's about time!

Re: Roundup You don't have to paint the cut stems. You just need to get it onto the green foliage. I have dipped leaves into a pan full of the stuff and had good success. You don't need to do all the leaves of a plant. Just dip some from each plant you want to kill & the rest will be history. Crossbow is also a green foliage application so it will also work the same way. You can go back & clean up the ones that survive if needed. I also use shields to protect neighbor plants from spray. If you do get some on a "friendly plant" that you want to keep, just rinse it off with fresh water.... NO HARM. Roundup and Crossbow are both harmless in the ground.

Mr Ed, I am going to try that! Thanks! I Googled Bluebells a few years ago and learned about how difficult it was to get rid of them but I didn't see anything about using Roundup or Crossbow. Funny thing, I think that is the state flower of Texas. Well, hell, they have enough land so a few million Bluebells won't make a difference to them.

Mr.Ed....check your e-mail, I just sent you something on the Bluebells. It said they are highly resistant to weedkillers of any kind. Sigh.
