Today's cover shot: Judging from the way she looks, this young lady is about ready to give birth to twins. Her "baby bumps" are very low and pronounced meaning the due date is extremely close. As large as the bumps are, it's sure to be twins for her and I'll be a GRANDPA two more times!
THIT!! And, with the arrival of Thursday, the week drags on.
We got slammed with rain last night. It came down so hard and so fast the interstates in the area had to be shut down. The news showed a video of the water coming over the four foot center divide on the highway. One area had about five inches of rain in a few hours.

We needed one big shovel to get out of that mess.
It has been a fabulous day here in the swamp today... temps right at 80ยบ & gentle breezes. If I close my eyes I could almost sell myself on the idea that I was in the tropics! I WISH! Oh well, in a couple of days I'll be on a ship... wearing a coat! What am I thinkin'???
At least some people get a vacation.
Mariposa - Vacation? Oh yeah, that! I'm having anxiety attacks over the prospect of being cooped up with a date for a whole week. This 'ol dog has been off his leash far too long. I do much better in a group atmosphere.
One of these days I'll get a week off just to decompress. I had a major melt down yesterday. Bosses finally realized I am under way too much stress and they shouldn't expect me to solve all their problems.
Mariposa - So, did you feel better after your "hissy fit"??? And, did the bosses avoid you the rest of the day?

Oh GAWD!!!!! You deployed the ULTIMATE female weapon????? I say FEMALE because it's one that men just can't use.
Dear hubby told me not to let them get under my skin. TOO LATE! The new GM kept asking me why I still had hard goods that we're not making it to one of the stores. My answer was always the same. The driver did not take it his reason was either it might rain or he had no room. GM did not like my answer. It was the only one I had. Owner and GM just hit me at the wrong time. I need to finish setting up a ware house with no help plus do all the normal every day stuff. I'm good but I'm not Wonderwoman....
Yep! It appears my unused "Bosses and baby diapers" comment is right on! I'll repeat what I said before: Good Luck with training that new boss.
It took me all of two minutes after I met him to know what he was full of, and I did not like the smell.
Off to try again. Let's see if I get any help today. They gave me Freddy yesterday then sent him on a wild goose chase. I do wish the left hand knew what the right hand was thinking....
