Tuesday and it almost seems like summer has taken a holiday. Showers overnight & we'll have to see what the day brings to the swamp. But, have a BODACIOUS Tuesday! You deserve it!
It's just an absolutely beautiful day here in the swamp today.... and it smells so GOOOOOD!!!! The new growth on the trees washed by the gentle overnight rains made for a very spring-like smelling day. It's pretty hard to not feel good about this day.... It's a keeper!
Carol - How's the paint job.... all dry, got your furnishings back in & being walked on?
Another drenching downpour. This makes three days in a row. Just hoping all the trees stay upright.
Mariposa - It sounds like you're getting thundercell wannabes! Ya' gotta love the Midwest weather. It's either 110% humidity or gully washer rains....
Paint job is all done....floor looks terrific. It's the basement so there was not a lot of furnishings to move. Started it on Friday and finished it on Sunday.
Mariposa, I don't think I would be able to live in your climate conditions. They seem so extreme to me.
