Today's cover shot is something I've NEVER seen before. I'm open to any suggestions. According to Google it could be an omen... if you believe in that possibility. I'd rather think it's a black butterfly but WHY????? I certainly don't have a CLUE!
Carol - I'm sure it was a Butterfly because it didn't have the thick fuzzy antennae like a Moth. I dunno! I've seen black Swallowtails and Monarchs but this one.... ??? I'm not a bug expert!
Carol - I'm stating to think that my black butterfly was actually a moth. I found a couple of pictures online that look almost the same as my bug.... and they are moths. But, whatever!!! I have never seen one before so it's a FIRST!
Well, as I said, maybe a variation of a Miller. I've never seen any moth that was not brown, gray, or a combo of those. To be honest I'm not actually sure of their color as I am usually screaming and running.
Carol - LOL I have pictures of a little eight year old boy with a moth held tightly by the wings ... yelling "Mothra, Mothra" chasing you around the schoolyard..... Lots of screaming and hysterical arm waving in that picture.........
