It looks so relaxing.
Mariposa - It has some fabulous trout in it but I don't allow fishing. I use it a lot to just decompress! It's also a great and VERY private swimming hole. Unfortunately the water is cold enough to cause hypothermia until late August or early September.

It looks like Summer may have arrived here in the swamp. The weather guessers are predicting highs in the upper 90s today. So I'll dash out for a kraut dog at lunch then it'll be time to curl up in front of the AC & read a good book. I could always go creekside I guess. That would be about 15º cooler....
Well, we didn't hit the century mark temperature-wise here in the boonies but we kissed it on the cheek. We got to 99º but that was it & we've already lost three from that. My duty of the hour is to water flowers.
Mother Nature is putting on a light show here. Lightening is flashing all directions across the sky. Think I'll stay in the rest of the night.
Mariposa - Sounds like a wise plan. Very few GOOD things come out of it when lightning starts dancing.
