I guess the "dog days" of summer are officially here! Triple digits predicted for the next couple of days. Thank Zeus for the heat pump.... time to hibernate. I'm such a WUSS!!!!!
Eggs Benedict for breakfast this morning I think. (WOW, the wording on that sentence is ????????) But, bennies just sounds goooooooddd! Then, I'll come back and hibernate! Hark! I have a plan! ☺

I've never had eggs benedict.
I just looked it up and then had to look up hollandaise sauce too. It does sound good! I love all the ingredients so I'm sure I'd like it.
I'll try it sometime when we are traveling as it's the only time we eat in restaurants.

Carol - Bennies can be either very good or ....... meh! The place I go uses a slice of ham that is at least a quarter inch thick. Some places just use Canadian Bacon. But, even at their worst they are pretty nummy! I always get the traditional & stay away from the spinach & other exotics. It's just ham 'n poached egg on a toasted English muffin & topped with a cheesy Hollandaise sauce. Pretty simple but the secret is in the SAUCE!
Ah the sauce...that's the secret of my potato salad. :)
