Today's cover shot: I've acquired a small family of beavers on one of the streams that runs through my properties. So far they've managed to put together a small dam & pond.

I heard today Braxton is out for the year. That will shake a few things up for the Buckeyes.
Mariposa - According to the pre season polls, the Bucks are #3 going in. I don't know how bad Miller's loss is going to affect that but it won't be good. Their backup quarterback has great credentials but he has no game experience and is going to have to grow up real fast. Definitely not the way you want to start the season. The polls have the Ducks at #4 and UCLA at #5. It's going to be a long year here on the coast too.
Mariposa - I was just looking at the latest pre-season polls and apparently the numbers have already changed. The list today has the Buckeyes at #5 & the Ducks at #3.... just the opposite of what I saw earlier. This list has UCLA moved down to #7. Florida is still at the top with Alabama #2 but since no one has played a game yet it's all speculation.
