Today's cover shot: Another 'old girl' nearing the end of her life. I love letting my imagination run wild with these antique structures. It's like they have a message just for me...
The Ducks and my Beavs both were winners... Ducks by 7 over Wazzu and my Beavs by 21 over San Diego State. The Ducks were in their first Pac 12 conference game of the year & it was a real dog fight.... a tough game. Quack!!!!
A quiet day here. I'm going to spent the day with my fabric. I just might get one a quilt quilted
Mr. Ed are they getting the fire contained?
Mariposa - It's at 4300 acres & 45% contained. Winds grounded the helicopters yesterday but that has changed this morning with the winds now coming from the opposite direction.
Mariposa - It looks like the Bucks got a bye at just the right time. The Ducks have a bye this next weekend.... & as banged up as they are it's a good thing. They've lost most of their offensive line due to injuries... kinda leaves Mariota having to improvise and scramble a lot. He was sacked repeatedly yesterday. It's just hard to win when your quarterback is on his butt!
