Today's cover shot..... Black Bear #4! I hadn't seen one in several years and now four different ones???? It's not that I don't like them but they are kinda cranky and they make me nervous. On the plus side, I haven't seen the other three again so I don't think they stuck around. And, in another month they'll be hibernating so maybe they'll work their way home by then. I'm convinced they are refugees from the 36 Pit fire and they'll probably head back home once that area stabilizes. Bears just aren't normally migratory.
Carol - I'm pretty sure this bear is a senior female and from the looks of her she is probably carrying a couple of babies. She definitely is packing a lot of weight & ready for hibernation.
Mr. Ed, you had a box on here under the box where we type our comments which said "prove you are not a robot" and then you had to type in a 4 digits/letters that were sort of scrambled. Some were very easy to see, BUT others are so blurred, they are impossible to read. This has happened elsewhere and I had to just give up and could not send a comment.
Carol - I assure you I had nothing to do with the Robot question box. It must have been something Blogger added for some reason that's beyond me. I would gladly welcome robots if they were cute or cuddly and came in peace. Well armed Transformers are out though!

Yikes, that's one BIG bear!!! All fattened up for his/her winter nap!
Oh, and thanks for removing the "prove you're not a robot" thingy!!
Carol - Prove you're not a robot? That's a question by the way because I don't know what you mean.
