Today's cover shot: Possibly the only remaining working outhouse... located in Central Oregon in the shadows of Mount Bachelor, The Sisters, Broken Top, and Three Finger Jack. Now, this is really going back to our roots!

Mr.Ed....I'm baaack. Went to the classic car show. What a great display and they closed the main street down so all the cars could park in at angles. The bars and restaurants were all doing a big business too. Music everywhere. Tons of people!! Weather was perfect too..low 80's.

I put in a special request for the Ford Fairlane you want. My sister golfs with the wife of a guy that collects old cars and he is well connected with other collectors so would know if your 'dream' car is anywhere. She will let me know what he finds.

Carol - I'm glad you had a good time & thanks for the effort on the Ford. If I find the RIGHT one... great & if not it's no big deal really. The one I had was such a LARGE part of my life and just getting another one won't replace that. But, it would be sweet to have one again. It's either that or a '57 T-Bird.......

I've got a slab of pork on the smoker grill this afternoon... eating in!

OH MY GAWWWDDDD!!! That little pig did a GOOD job growin' up. I cooked a pork loin on a new smoker grill I bought to replace my aging Traeger.... and it was soooooo gooooood!!! Now I'm wondering why I hadn't replaced the Traeger long ago. They have the new grills so idiot-proof.....

Mariposa - I have never said I COULDN'T cook.... I just HATE to cook because I hate to clean up the mess. I had help in that department so it was very enjoyable. It really was vey nice having a young lady fussing around in my kitchen while I played 'chef'.
