It looks like a blustery wet day ahead for here in the swamp. The winds aren't predicted to be too bad but it's going to be wet regardless. I think it's safe to say that we have officially turned the corner to fall....... just in time to take those dying leaves off the trees!
It was a dark and stormy.... ummmmm... er........ day. What???? You expected a literary masterpiece? Ok then.... It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.... Nah! I'll go with the dark and stormy with rain coming down in sheets..... Yep! That describes the swamp today! Be sure to include 'blustery' too! That's a good'n! You get the idea? It's a WET 'n WINDY day in the swamp today. Just a GOOD day to sit inside by the fireplace with a cup of cocoa... as long as I don't have to go outside to get wood. Of course, that's all just ravings of a lunatic because I'll be out to breakfast... getting wet... shortly. This flight of whimsy has been brought to you by the makers of Prozac.......... so if you don't at least smile, my day will be a total disaster and I'll slip further into my delusional world! I LIKE rain!
I need some of that right now. Sat in traffic for almost an hour this AM due to an accident. On the other side of the road!!!! Only half an hour late. Not much sleep last night. Sinuses are draining. Where the hell did I put that plug. Here's hoping the drugs work so I can sleep tonight.
