Mariposa - I couldn't have put it better!
Today's cover shot: Eastern Oregon with just a trace of the winter to come and we're still nearly three weeks away from the Winter Solstice!
Nothing special about this Thursday for me... Just hoping to get through it painlessly! I had another eye shot scheduled but I slid it forward a week because I'm just not in the mood to put up with it right now. How's that for havin' a 'tude????
It's turning out to be a rough week. One of my coworkers lost her mother this week, and I got a phone call to tell me my brother-in-law passed away yesterday. I'm not sure what my sister will do. I don't think she can live by herself because of her health. She is to far away for me to do anything to help.
Mariposa - The BIL/Sister that just made the cross country trip & whose car died? I seem to recall that he had long-term health problems but Holy Merde.... That's striking close to home!!! Does she have any other family (in-law or outlaw) close to where she lives? How's her health-care (insurance, Medicare, etc.)? Getting older really SUCKS but the alternative isn't too good either. Unfortunately, most people don't even think about those contingencies until they actually need them. Good luck in sorting it out.
Carl That is one and the same.Her daughter lives in Idaho and will get to her as soon as her ex gets back from Texas so he can watch the kids.
Mariposa - so very sorry about your troubles!! It's hard when family is so spread out. Hope you/she find a solution that will work.
