Mariposa - It was able to give you your avatar....
It looks like Carol's "pesky" Robot box has attached itself to the comment feature. I don't know what's going on with it but in testing I've simply ignored it and just hit "Publish Your Comment" and it worked. Since the three of us have "identities" it should work the same for both you also if you just ignore it. If not, please let me know.
Mr. Ed, I will test your theory and try to publish my comment without typing in the 'robot' crap.

Mariposa, I know you are smarter than the laptop! I wouldn't be but I don't have a job where I have to know the computer. I also have a hubby who is an expert. Good thing too, as I always hit something and cause all kinds of problems but I never know what I did....it's all over in a nano second, who can figure out what they did?
Carol - According to BlogSpot it is supposed to only be there for non Google accounts such as anonymous, Name/URL or Open ID posters. Since none of us use those I may try that later & just allow posting signed-in. Maybe later... when I feel like fighting with it!
I figured it was there because I had a new laptop.
It became a full time event when they progressed from their current Beta version to the "new and improved" New Look. There doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of the dumb thing the way they now have it. But, unless they change it again it will just be something to step over as long as we're signed in on our Google Accounts.
