Mr. Ed....so very sorry to hear of your friends diagnosis. That is a bad one. Hope you have a safe trip over and back. Not a pleasant way to spend this day.

It'll be an easy one for me, we are going to nieces house for a few hours this afternoon. :)
Carol - Thank you for the kind thoughts. He had Prostate cancer a few years ago and has been in remission. But, suddenly it's back big time and untreatable. We had a beautiful day with his entire family and there wasn't a "down" face in the entire group. He is 85 years old and has decided to just live the rest of his life one day at a time & make each day count.
The day was fabulous. I had to drive through snow both ways and I absolutely hate Mt. Hood traffic... especially with the skiers. As a group, those guys are so RUDE!!!!!! But, it was a GREAT day and while I wish it had been different circumstances, I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.
