TGIF!!! Woohoo!
I survived the "big blow" with only minimal impact... mostly branches blown off trees. I haven't done a full survey yet but from what I see, I had no trees come down.
I lost my power (and internet of course) for about three hours... no great loss. I really need to look into getting a stand-by generator system although I don't know why I really need it. It would probably become just another expensive gimmick that wouldn't get used very often. Just what I don't NEED!
Glad you survived. A generator might not be a bad ideal you never know when you'll need it.
Carol - I drove into Clackamas via Estacada today..... lots of trees & debris down. Must have been a pretty good wind I guess. I hope you survived okay.
All is well here, we had lots of branches down but nothing major.
We were really lucky.
Carol - It really surprised me when I heard about that kid getting killed by a falling tree. You just never think of that happening I guess. Trees always seem so "permanent"....
