Oh groannnnnnn! Bad news! Mariota says he's going to the NFL draft. I have been holding my breath hoping he would stay and play out his final year of eligibility but that is not going to happen. Crappola! That means the Ducks will be merely mortal next year. Oregon's number two QB leaves giant chunks to be desired. Of course from Mariota's point of view it's the smart thing to do. He's at the peak of his game and will make MILLIONS in the NFL. But still, there was the dream of things that could be..............
By the way.... When I came back from lunch I noticed that I've got Daffys, Tulips, Day Lillies, Hyacinth, Crocus....... What have I missed? Anyway they're all up about six inches and starting to bud! I've also got two rose bushes just covered with new growth. I think everything must be enjoying these warmer temperatures following that cold stretch. If things go like they usually do we'll probably get some snow to cover them & slow them down a little.
