Nothing like a little freezing rain over night to make the morning fun. I've put a tarp on the car so I don't have to scrape so much at o dark thirty in the morning.
Mariposa - That's CHEATING!!! If you did it my way you'd be scraping ice for an hour. Way to think ahead... something I rarely do. It's a GUY thing I think! And, you don't have a garage? I couldn't survive without one.
Monday, Monday...... Groan! I've got a cat to the Vet thing first thing this morning. It's one of the least feral outside ones but it'll be a challenge catching him. He's pretty good about letting me pet him so hopefully it'll work out for a quick capture. All my strays make regular vet trips for shots and checkups. Number one rule requires them to be both happy and healthy so regular visits to the Dr. aren't left to choice. This guy, the one I call Holstein because of his markings, was very close to dead when he showed up. He had been hit by a car and required a lot of help to even get to the food and water I provide them. He had some broken ribs and a herniated diaphragm but after almost a year of care he is doing very well and you'd never know he has any problems.
College Football Championship day! It's here! With my blood pressure, I'm not sure I can watch! Mariposa - I gotta say "good luck" to the Bucks but I've gotta go with the Ducks today. I know where your choice rests and if it wasn't "The Ducks", I'd be right there with you so good luck to your guys. The Ducks have tied one arm behind their back with their last minute drug suspensions of two key players but what will be will be! With these two teams I think there will be at least 90 to 100 points scored so let the game begin!
No crying about losing key players. Don't forget we are using the third string quarterback. ;)
Mariposa - No crying intended. It is what it is! Next man up! By the way, most teams would die to have the Bucks THIRD STRING quarterback.
My cat got a qualified "bill of health" and shots from the vet today so all is well. I don't know how long it will be before he lets me pick him up again though.....
Ouch! Ducks drew first blood.
The Bucks were definitely the better team on the field in the first half. I don’t know who that team in white was. ESPN kept saying it was The Ducks but it didn’t look like anyone I’ve watched play this year.
The Ducks played well. The Bucks were just too much too handle.
Congratulations Mariposa - The Bucks did GOOD! The Ducks weren't up to the task and since I'm also a Bucks fan, I can't think of a better team I'd rather see win the first National Title!
Now to get some sleep. 5:30 will get here way too soon.
