Today's cover shot: Located abandoned in far northeastern Oregon. Couldn't come up with any history but it looked like it desperately needed a friend....

The second half of today's cover shot is Lovejoy, the New Years Comet. It has been visible in the Southern Hemisphere since before Christmas but it now is visible in the north as well. It is now at its brightest and easily seen just after nightfall.

Sunday! Wahoo! Enjoy it!

Poor old building. It sure has seen better days.

Mariposa - I'm amazed that some of these buildings are still standing and in many cases are still being used for some function. Several of the shots I've had were buildings from repossessed property that was being sold at auction. I actually bought a couple of them but they didn't last long.
